Flooding Roads • Week‑Long Trap Line • 5 Beavers Removed
When Jefferson County officials reached out about rising water levels and road flooding, I conducted a full inspection and quickly confirmed the cause: an active beaver colony damming up drainage areas and backing water over the roadway.
To protect the road and restore proper water flow, I set and ran a dedicated trap line for a full week. Each day I checked, reset, and adjusted the sets based on fresh sign and activity. By the end of the job, I successfully and humanely removed five beavers, eliminating the source of the flooding and preventing further damage.
This job is a great example of how fast beaver activity can impact roads, culverts, and private property — and why early intervention matters.
If you’re dealing with beavers, flooding, or water damage anywhere in Jefferson County or the surrounding areas, I’m ready to help.
